Q2 ) What assistance can the new Vocational Training Tribunal provide in litigation by an apprentice against his employer.

A2 ) Civil litigation is a matter outside the scope of the Apprenticeship and Traineeship Act 2001. An apprentice who wishes to take civil action against an employer should seek their own independent legal advice. The Vocational Training Tribunal has the functions and power as the former Vocational Training Board including the authority to determine disputes concerning apprenticeship and traineeships.
