School Based Part-time Traineeships and Apprenticeships
Q ) What are the arrangements for school-based part-time apprenticeships and traineeships?
A ) Part-time traineeships and apprenticeships in schools provide senior secondary students with three qualifications:
- a nationally recognised VET qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)
- a Certificate of Proficiency on satisfactory completion of the traineeship or apprenticeship
- credit toward the Higher School Certificate (HSC).
