Beauty Therapy apprentices are covered by the Hair and Beauty (State) Award. The Award supports full-time and school based part-time training and progression from a school based part-time to a full-time apprenticeship.

Apprentices and their employers are encouraged to reference the Office of Industrial Relations publication A Guide to Employing Staff in NSW Hairdressers, Barbers and Beauty Salons.
